Yes. You can sell on ebay; both on your own behalf and as a trading assistant (selling agent). The money comes straight into your paypal account.

I sell stuff on Ebay for people and take a percentage. The payment for the item comes to you through paypal, then you transfer the original owner their cut and keep the rest. You can easily get a business license for this, which allows you to make legitimate business transactions any way you see fit.
Incidentally, once you have a company name and such, you can write things off on your taxes. For instance, if you display your company name and phone number on your vehicle you can write off your gas and car insurance on your taxes. You can only be inactive for a year or two before the license will expire, but as long as you maintain some activity and renew your license when needed then you’re golden.
